10.15am 22 December, 2007, in the van on the way to the airport...

Arrival at the
Langkawi Airport....by Air Asia of course the only carrier that enable us to take along our maid for a holiday. Anyway our daughter Nor Alia
insist that we take photo with the aircraft as the backdrop.

The Resort where we stay...
Sri Kijang. That's because my wife is working with Bank
Negara. It is a beautiful place confined to only to
BNM community

The swimming pool as can be seen from our room...Nor Alia just can't wait to be at the pool

There she goes....in the pool with her mum, sister
Shaza and the maid as well. Our maid is an expert in swimming as she comes from the Island of Flores, Indonesia. So, my wife and daughters had free swimming lessons from her.
The Sri Kijang Resort as can be seen from the pool....
On our to Awana Porto Malai...after taking a dip in the pool and having "Roti Nan" at Boom-Boom Cafe along the road at Pantai Chenang.

At
Awana Porto
Malai...actually we just missed the LIMA 08 exhibition
One of those cute "Thing" that I have in my dream....one day I will have one of these "Thing"
Awana Porto Malai from the Jetty...

Some of the Cafes at the Jetty...I really liked these view. It makes me feel like I am at one of those small french town in the movies...another dream of mine, to be able to travel all over the world anytime I like...because I have that financial freedom.
The Island opposite the Sri Kijang Resort with the moon over it....as at 6.45 am before our morning walk at the beach. I don't have a tripod, so I just make use the the concrete wall to take the photo. The photo was taken without using the flash.
Nor Alia and her sister Shaza having early morning walk at the Chenang Beach... she was enjoying the walk at the beach until she saw one big crab...running towards her and she got scared. After that, I have to carry her back to the resort.
One of those rock formation at the so called Geo Park...I really admire this rock formation.
Sunset Beach Resort, along the road at Pantai Chenang. I took this photo on our way to breakfast where you can find varieties of nasi lemak, all at RM1.00 only
That's my daughter with her sunglasses at the beach...after trying her best to build the sand castle. With her sunglasses, is'nt she looks like those 1960's actress? She will be damn agree if she knows I said that..
Yeah.....just love to watch the waves and the sand along the beach....and love to watch the island behind me too. Another dream of mine...to be able to spend time like this with my family, no rush hour, no meetings, no jams to beat. I just want to have my freedom with my time
Sofea Cafe at Kuah town...sounds like my daughter's own cafe. Good food, nice ambiance...recommended to try for everybody.
Beautiful scenery from one of those hills overlooking the sea...I think it somewhere near the Langkawi Yacht Club....
Our visit to the Galeria Perdana....the crystal collections exhibit at the gallery - collection of gifts received by the former Prime Minister. This is the first time we visited this gallery.
Isn't that beautiful? I really admire the design of the ceiling of this gallery.
The padi fields in Langkawi...on our way to The Burau Bay. Photo taken from one of the Bridge along the road.
The Marina at The Burau Bay...beautiful place, although not as beautiful as some of the places that we visited before, for example Manly in Sydney or even Phuket.

Some of the boats that can be seen at The
Burau Bay Marina....

One of the spots that we never failed to visit when we were at
Langkawi is The Andaman and also The
Datai, located at the
Datai Bay. Here is the swimming pool at The Andaman taken from the lounge.

The Resort lobby of The Andaman.....

Another section of the
lobbly, The Andaman

The beach at the
Pantai Pasir Tengkorak....near
Datai Bay
